Rob Gray - CVCIC Chair


Rob Gray has around 40 years’ experience of environmental management. Following 20 years in consultancy, he has become increasingly engaged in urban community based river and environmental management. In 2003 he was a founder and Chair of the charity FORCE (Friends of the River Crane Environment) www.force.org.uk where he remains a Trustee. This small volunteer led charity has had a significant beneficial impact on the river and open spaces of the lower Crane Valley. In 2021 he helped set up, and is now Chair, of Crane Valley CIC. 



John Waxman - CVP Development Manager

John is a freelance environmental and heritage management consultant, plus content creator and Director of a digital media company. Before becoming a consultant he worked for a range of high profile organisations including the Environment Agency, the National Trust and the Royal Air Force Museum. He has an MSc. in Aquatic Resource Management. John has acted as the Crane Valley Partnership’s Development Manager since early 2019. He co-founded CVCIC in 2021.



Sophia M - Director


Sophia has worked in the finance industry for the last decade specialising in charity accounts, both as a contractor and consultant. Working with various clients in the borough of Richmond, including FORCE (Friends of the River Crane Environment), she has a range of experience and regulatory insights in this sector. She helped set up the Crane Valley CIC back in 2021 and acts in her finance role as well as a Director. Sophia, although heavily involved with the numbers, has a dedication for community and environmental issues, always aware of the importance of ethical working and understanding of our society.




Eve Risbridger - Director


Eve is an ecologist with a degree in Environmental Sciences from University of East Anglia. She's had a long career in local environmental management, particularly working for London Borough of Richmond as Ecology Officer, Head of Parks and then Head of Street Scene. Since then she has worked independently as a consultant, primarily helping multiple stakeholder partnerships get improved services at reduced costs. She is currently working part time as Interim CEO for Habitats and Heritage and as a consultant to support the Crane Valley Partnership whilst also running The Real Junk Food Project Twickenham on Fridays. 




Antonia Zotali - Director


Antonia Zotali is a Civil Engineer, with 22 years’ experience of delivering infrastructure repair, improvement projects and work programmes involving canals, rivers and reservoirs. Throughout her career, she has been committed to making a difference for the environment and local communities through her varied scope of work. She is delighted to be involved with the Crane Valley CIC as a Treasurer & Director, contributing to making the River Crane a better place for wildlife and people.
